![]() Its going to take me awhile to wrap my head around all these principles but thank you for the clarification as its helping me to understand. I usually use a sword and shield but recently got a mace and though I have the skill to wield it when I quick changed to the secondary weapon slot with the mace all of a sudden my hero is dragging his feet and barely moving. I didn't realize until the other day that the encumberance only deliniated what you are actually wearing and equiping on your persons. I've been spending more time studying the tree and nodes and seeing what elements they affect by highlighting them and comparing it to what I already have. If you click the "display" button, or push in the left stick, you can swap it from equipped weight to percentages, too. You can immediately check your current equip burden on the second tab of the menu. While the endurance nodes increase your endurance stat, obviously, it's also worth mentioning that the armor skill nodes, both for light and heavy armor, ALSO increase your endurance stat equally well. In a nutshell, the thief clothing is going to be the single best low burden armor for a large portion of the game, and the plate mail is going to provide you the best reasonable protection without being too heavy. ![]() ![]() Below 25%, you're quite fast and your rolls cover a very long distance while making you invincible all the way, above 75%, your rolls are kind of pathetic, and above 100%, it's basically unplayable. Bear in mind that your current burden is only determined by what pieces of armor and weapons you have actively on your person at that time, so the loadout slot button (tab/LB/L1) is your friend if, for instance, you want to switch between two-handing a sword or using a sword and a heavy shield that slows you down. Your maximum equip burden is determined by your endurance, and your speed/agility is determined by how much of that equip burden is currently being taken up. I suppose there are many ways to manipulate the ability offerings of the tree to adjust your character's agility but I'm not sure how to go about it.įirst off: endurance, encumbrance, and your overall agility are all BASICALLY the same thing. My question is, how or what should I do to help increase my character's speed/agility? Does the pack mule skill in the skill tree only affect how much you can carry(encumberance) or does it also increase your character's ability of speed of movement? If not what part of the tree will I find an option to increase my character's ability to move more quickly and to jump higher and farther? Also right now, the only decent armor I've found is the plate mail and the rogue's mask. Skill-wise I'm only able to aquire around 2000 salt before I need to go back and use it to level up because usually if I try to push for more, I loose it all lol. I also didn't realize that I could level up as often as I could. I stripped myself down naked and was suprised at how fast you can move. I did not realize or had forgotten that the more and heavier stuff you equip slows your character down substantially. There's much I don't understand yet but I really enjoy the depth and layers this game has in gameplay and in honing and developing your hero. I try to learn something new or at least gain a little experience each time I play. For me its difficult and frustrating at times but I'm loving it.
